Background

After winning his 5th and 6th consecutive Tour de France races, Lance Armstrong competed against 120 of the world's top cyclists in the San Francisco Grand Prix a.k.a., "the toughest race in North America."

Objectives

To raise awareness around the sport of cycling, engage sponsors, increase attendance, garner support from the city of San Francisco, and blow-out the event into a weekend long affair.
